By the grace of our Lord having repented of our sin, believed on Christ, and been baptized into his church,

we now make these promises together.​ 

 

We will follow our Lord Jesus, led by His word and indwelling Spirit, emulating his example, and obeying all he has commanded.

​

We will obey the Great Commandment, to love the Lord with all our heart, soul, and mind, and second unto it, to love our neighbors as ourselves.

​

We will follow the Golden Rule, to do unto others as we would have them do unto us.

​

We will embrace the Great Commission, to make disciples among all neighbors and nations, baptizing and teaching in the power of the Risen Christ.

​

We will heed the prophetic word as to what God requires: Do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with our God.

​

We will be vitally connected with His church here and wherever we live, for fellowship, breaking bread and praying together for His kingdom to come.

​

We will seek to establish homes characterized by faith, hope, and love; pursuing time alone with God as well as family devotions.

​

We will forgive one another, even as God in Christ has forgiven us.

 

We will look to each other's good, walking together in joy and sadness.

​

We will encourage each other building every person up in the truth, warning each other so that no one might be deceived by Satan's schemes.

​

We will endeavor to be good stewards of all that our Creator has entrusted to our care.

​

May the grace of the Lord Jesus, the love of God the Father, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us all. Amen.
